Experience

Carter Bryant is a building enclosure consultant who has experience in enclosure concepts and construction practices. Mr. Bryant brings value to projects prioritizing building performance and the durability of enclosure systems, from design through construction. His skills in analytical thinking, effective communication, and dedication to resolving complex challenges contribute meaningfully to litigation and investigative work associated with building enclosure systems.

He currently holds an EIT license and is actively pursuing his PE licensure in structural engineering and environmental engineering/water resources in the state of Texas.

  • Wasatch Peaks Ranch - Morgan, UT: Peer review for architect of record and building performance/waterproofing consultant for development of townhomes
  • Texas White House and Hangar - Johnson City: Internal review of construction documents related to the architectural enclosure
  • Sacred Heart Catholic Church - El Paso, TX: Consultant to architect; recommendations and guidance on repair details and strategies for mass masonry enclosure system as part of historic restoration project

  • 137 River Crossing - Boerne, TX: As expert witness, provided technical report and defended stucco subcontractor for high-end residential home
  • The Grange Condominiums - Austin, TX: As expert witness, provided technical report and defended general contractor for townhome/condominium complex

 

Condition Assessment

  • William P. Clements Building - Austin, TX: Condition assessment report to address steel frame supporting travertine panel arch feature, panels, and their attachment
  • Sacred Heart Catholic Church - El Paso, TX: Preliminary assessment report on the facade (mass masonry, cast stone, terra cotta, and wood windows) for restoration and repair of mass masonry historic church
  • Young Women’s Leadership Academy Primary School - San Antonio, TX: Assessment report on putty-glazed wood windows and roof systems (built-up, multi-ply, single-ply, and metal) on 1920s-era historic main building
